On the weekend 14/15 of December 2019, two of our PhD students, Piotr Łuczak and Szymon Grabia took part in the Imagine Hack – a hackathon organised by .NET scientific cirlce from the Technical University of Lodz.

A hackathon, the name of which is a portmanteau of the words “hack” (in the meaning of exploratory programming) and “marathon”, is an event, during which computer programmers, designers and developers aim to create a problem-solving application from scratch. Piotr and Szymon created an app, which after uploading to a server, cleans it up, processes and perfoms initial analysis of it. Their project was highly appreciated by the jury and received the first prize!
