We are happy to announce that Dominika Michałek is one of the 43 laureates of the 2020-21 BioLAB Program! From August/September 2020, Dominika will be working with Prof Stephen Rich in the Center for Public Health Genomics at University of Virginia (Charlottesville, USA). Dominika will participate there in projects concerning multi-omics approach to define the functional significance of T1D-associated variants and define genetic mechanisms for disease progression from TOPMed (Trans-Omics for Precision Medicine) MESA (Multi-Ethnic Study of Atherosclerosis) data.
