We are pleased to announce that Wojciech Fendler MD PhD has won the eighth edition of the National Science Center Award for Life Sciences! It is an annual distinction awarded to outstanding young scientists who have made significant scientific discoveries.
Wojciech Fendler MD PhD has been recognized for his research into microRNAs as biomarkers of accidental exposure to ionising radiation and the side effects of radiotherapy.
We would also like to congratulate the other winners of the award, which are:
professor Jakub Growiec, laureate in the field of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences,
and Michał Tomza PhD, laureate in Physical Sciences and Engineering.
