Three doctoral students associated with our Department were awarded during the Public Scientific Review Session of the International Doctoral School! Damian Mikulski (supervisor: prof. Wojciech Fendler, presentation topic: “Multiomic analysis of exosomal biomolecules associated with irreversible bone marrow injury caused by myeloablative chemotherapy in patients treated with autologous stem cell transplantation”), Arkadiusz Michalak (supervisor: prof. Agnieszka Szadkowska, presentation topic: “Utility of unmethylated fragments of the insulin gene in circulating cell-free DNA as a biomarker of beta cell death”) and Zuzanna Nowicka (supervisor: prof. Wojciech Fendler, subject presentation: “Comprehensive characterization of tumor immune contexture changes induced by cytotoxic agents in non-small cell lung cancer”) received awards from Prof. Anna Woźniacka.
