We are happy to inform you that two high school students, Julia Świerczyńska and Agata Kozajda, interns at the Department of Biostatistics and Translational Medicine, have been qualified for the scholarship program “Zdolni” held by National Children’s Fund. Together they work on a project “In Vino Veritas – an influence of miRNA present in red wine on cardiovascular diseases.” The research won the second main prize at Gdynia E(x)plory Week 2022. The girls were awarded with a scholarship and participation in Weizmann’s Institute International Science Summer School. Congratulations!
