We are pleased to announce that our long-term collaborator, Prof. Dipanjan Chowdhury, has been selected as the first incumbent of the Svanberg Family Chair within the Endowed Chairs program at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. This distinction honors a distinguished senior faculty member and provides invaluable financial support in perpetuity to pursue research and care initiatives leading to new discoveries.
“I am extremely honored to serve as the first incumbent of the Svanberg Family Chair. Early detection is one of our most effective strategies against cancer, and with Louise’s support, we are working toward a future where we are able to treat more cancers at their earliest and most treatable stages and provide renewed hope for patients everywhere.”
We are proud of this achievement and look forward to future research endeavors.
