We are delighted to announce that Katarzyna Płoszka, MSc, a doctoral student at our department, received the Audience Award in the competition for the best 3-minute scientific presentation during the 9th edition of the Forge of Young Talents, organized by the The Polish Young Academy.
This year’s “Kuźnia” provided an opportunity for young scientists from various fields to meet and participate in numerous lectures, panel discussions, workshops, and training sessions devoted to topics such as the development of a scientific career, scientific communication, and collaboration between science and society.
One of the highlights of the 9th edition was a competition for 3-minute presentations on the topics of participants’ doctoral research. Our doctoral student presented her research on identifying factors influencing microRNA variability and assessing their utility as biomarkers in patients with DNA repair deficiencies.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations and wish her continued success in her scientific endeavors!
