We are pleased to announce that Katarzyna Płoszka, M.A., a doctoral student at the Department of Biostatistics and Translational Medicine, has been elected First Vice Chair of the Doctoral Forum of Medical Universities (DFUM).

DFUM is a nationwide forum bringing together doctoral students from medical universities belonging to the Conference of Rectors of Academic Medical Universities (KRAUM). The forum works to represent the doctoral student community, facilitate the exchange of experiences, and promote cooperation among doctoral students at medical universities throughout Poland.

Current composition of the DFUM Board for the 2026/2027 term:

• Chair: Dominika Dobiecka, M.A. (Medical University of Białystok)
• First Vice Chair: Katarzyna Płoszka, M.A. (Medical University of Łódź)
• Second Vice Chair: Adam Bujanowicz, M.D. (Warsaw Medical University)

Serving on the DFUM Board is not only an honor but also an opportunity to actively participate in activities benefiting the doctoral student community and to represent its interests at the national level.
