Aleksander Rycerz

Graduate of the medical program at the Medical University of Lodz(2024) and of data analysis at the University of Lodz (2024). He has developed his skills through numerous courses in machine learning and advanced statistical methods. In 2024, he was awarded the Minister of Health scholarship for medical university students for significant scientific achievements.

PhD candidate at the Department of Operative and Oncological Gynecology, where under the supervision of the Head of the Department, Prof. Jacek Wilczyński, and Dr. Eng. Monika Golińska from the Department of Biostatistics and Translational Medicine, he studies the impact of the JAK/STAT pathway on the development of endometriosis and the potential use of its inhibition in endometriosis therapy. He is currently working on Dr. Golińska’s SONATA project and on the project financed by The Gray Foundation, which focuses on early detection of breast cancer using miRNA.

In his free time, he is a fan of cross-country and alpine skiing, as well as classical music.
