Szymon Grabia

PhD student at the International Doctoral School of the Medical University of Lodz, researching the use of radiomics in optimizing radiotherapy planning for oncological patients. For this purpose, he utilizes advanced machine learning and image processing methods.

A graduate of Computer Science and Information Technology and Telecommunications and Computer Science at the International Faculty of Engineering (IFE) at the Lodz University of Technology. During his studies, he took part in the Erasmus+ international exchange at the RWTH Aachen university and participated in numerous interdisciplinary programming projects.

As part of his work at the Department, he assumes the roles of an architect and the main programmer of systems for data collection in clinical trials (eCRF) and other bioinformatics tools. He also deals with the administration of servers and IT infrastructure.

Privately, he is interested in information security, film production, computer games and sailing.
