Dominika Michałek

She completed her undergraduate studies at the Department of Biomedical Sciences and Postgraduate Education at the Medical University of Lodz in 2018 with the bachelor thesis: "Study of expression of insulin receptor substrate 1 (IRS1) in women after gestational diabetes mellitus" under the supervision of associate professor Marzena Wójcik. From 2018 she began her graduate studies. Currently, she is evaluating changes in blood morphological parameters during the treatment of ketoacidosis in children with type 1 diabetes and she is dealing with the role of microRNA in renal cyst and diabetes syndrome (RCAD).
