Katarzyna Płoszka
Graduate of the first degree (2019) and the second degree (2021) in the field of Medical Biotechnology at the Faculty of Medicine, Division of Biomedical Sciences, Medical University of Lodz. During her studies, she completed an internship at the Department of Immunopathology of the Medical University of Lodz (2018). In addition, she completed postgraduate studies "Elements of the methodology of empirical research in medicine and the application of statistics in biomedical research" in 2022. Former member of The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience of the Medical University of Lodz (IAESTE UMed), where she was the Coordinator of the Autumn Recruitment Action 2020 and the National PR Coordinator of the Spring Recruitment Action 2021. Additionally, a former member of the Science Club of General and Oncological Pathology "OgOn".
As part of her work at the Department, apart from teaching, she deals with statistical analyzes mainly in the field of oncology and meta-analyses. Biostatistician in the MAGIC-AML clinical trial - Multiarm, Multicenter, RAndomized, Molecularly-GuIded Controlled Trial of Personalized Treatment Strategy - of Acute Myeloid Leukemia. She is interested in molecular biology, oncology and immunology.
Passionate about the home jungle, in the form of potted plants and survival horror games. In her spare time, she also enjoys painting pictures and taking long walks.
