Aleksandra Ryk

Graduate of the first and second degree in the field of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the Faculty of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Bristol, UK. She is currently a PhD student at the International Doctoral School of the Medical University of Lodz. In her PhD, she is working on the identification of biological functions of proinsulin C-peptide using laboratory methods and bioinformatic methods of protein interactions modelling.

Since 2022, she is the principal investigator of the PRELUDIUM grant of the National Science Centre and the scientific grant of the Polish Diabetes Association, additionally she received a scholarship of the "STER-Internationalisation of Doctoral Schools" programme at the Medical University of Lodz funded by NAWA.

In the department she is involved in data analysis mainly in the field of diabetology, rheumatology and cardiology.
