Since March 2020, Beata Małachowska, MD, PhD has been working at the Department of Radiation Oncology at Einstein College of Medicine (New York, USA). Beata will participate there in projects concerning the effects of ionizing radiation on gene expression in the gastrointestinal epithelium, the immune response to carbon ion radiotherapy and the metabolomic effects of the thrombopoietin mimetic as a mean of counteracting the effects of ionizing radiation.
