We are pleased to inform you that the project ‘Radonek-AI – virtual assistant for oncological patients’ has been granted 70,000.00 PLN as part of the ‘Student Scientific Associations Creating Innovations’ initiative. The project will be carried out by members of the Student Scientific Association of Artificial Intelligence in Oncology, operating at the Department of Biostatistics and Translational Medicine. Konrad Stawiski, MD PhD, will lead the project, with Aleksander Rycerz, an engineer and medical student pursuing an Individual Study Plan in our Department, serving as the main coordinator. The aim of the project is to create a mobile application that, using OpenAI ChatGPT model technology, will support oncological patients in acquiring reliable and tailored information about their treatment, specifically adapted to Polish conditions.
