We are pleased to announce that on March 27, 2026, at Medical University of Łódź, the student conference CODE2HEALTH took place, dedicated to the applications of artificial intelligence in medicine. The event, initiated by our student Paulina Urynowicz, brought together students from medical, IT, data science, and biotechnology fields, as well as representatives from academia and industry.

The conference program included expert presentations showcasing a wide range of AI applications in medicine, from supporting clinical processes and data analysis in rare and oncological diseases, through innovation management, to the use of artificial intelligence in patient recruitment and clinical trial design.

A key highlight of the event was a panel discussion featuring Prof. Wojciech Fendler, focused on future competencies in medicine and emerging technologies, with particular emphasis on interdisciplinarity and preparing young professionals to work at the intersection of science and innovation.

The conference was supported by partners including AstraZeneca, Celon Pharma, A4BEE, RCMC and PTBI, highlighting its interdisciplinary and applied character.
