We are pleased to announce that Paulina Urynowicz, a student at the Department of Biostatistics and Translational Medicine, has been selected to participate in the BioLab Program.

As part of the program, Paulina will carry out a research internship at the Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation in Oklahoma City, USA, under the supervision of Professor Umesh S. Deshmukh. During her stay, she will be involved in research focused on autoimmunity, immune aging and biomarker discovery, with particular emphasis on extracellular vesicle miRNA as biomarkers and indicators of disease pathogenesis in Sjögren’s disease.
